This role involves working from our offices in Buckingham where most of our engineering staff are based. You will be primarily looking after all of the stock that is held in our stores which includes a selection of components for different types of renewable energy systems.
In addition you will manage the companies’ assets including access systems, vans, building and testing equipment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in stores management either in a plumbing or electrical environment and will be familiar with all aspects of stock control including receiving deliveries, picking and allocating materials for our engineering teams, maintaining stock control records and general warehouse management. You will also be responsible for offloading goods form delivery vehicles and assisting with the loading of these items into work vehicles. This role can involve some heavy lifting so physical fitness is important.
A current fork lift truck licence is essential, as is a clean driving licence. You should also be computer literate including Excel, Sage, Word and Outlook.
From time to time you may be required to collect material from suppliers or to deliver to site, so must hold a clean driving licence.
