Ground Source Heat Pumps
Ground Source Heat Pumps work by taking low grade heat from within the ground and converting this to high grade heat via a heat pump utilising a refrigeration cycle. This high grade heat can be used for space heating and the heating of domestic hot water heating systems. The Ground Source Heat Pump cycle is highly efficient and delivers up to 4kw of heat energy for every kW of energy input into the system.
our Ground Source Heat Pumps systems can be integrated with solar hot water heating systems and also interface particularly well with under floor heating. Ground Source Heat Pumps are an ideal way to provide a new home with alternative heating.
At SolarTech we can guide you through the whole process of installing your Ground Source Heat Pump, from start to finish, and we are able to offer all of our customers an integrated solution combining a variety of environmentally conscious technologies. This approach gives our clients a single point of contact and avoids duplication of costs. In many cases our Ground Source Heat Pumps are able to offer significant system performance and cost benefits over a traditional route of purchasing these systems from individual Ground Source Heat Pumps suppliers.
Solar Tech has access to leading Ground Source Heat Pump manufacturers; including brands such as ICE energy and Nu-way. We are therefore able to select the optimum Ground Source Heat Pumps for individual projects to give our customers the most efficient performance characteristics.
